Leon Saunders Calvert

Leon Saunders Calvert runs the Sustainable Finance, Lipper and I&A Insights businesses for Refinitiv. He is also a Board Observer at TAB, an aggregator of crowdfunding and other online financial marketplace data to service financial professionals in this emerging asset class, an Advisory Board member of AidHub, a platform for NGO’s, charities and companies to manage and measure their social impact initiatives, and an Advisory Board member of HighCastle, who use blockchain technology to support the issuance and distribution of securities.

Leon also provides pro-bono consultative advice to charities through the Pilotlight business executive program and through UnLtd's social entrepreneurs mentorship program.

Paul O'Connor

J.P. Morgan
Paul is a Sustainable Finance specialist with over 20 years of experience. Paul currently leads J.P. Morgan’s Green Bonds offering in EMEA, developing Green and other ESG Bond propositions for issuer clients and advising on execution in line with established market practices. Prior to joining the Green Bonds team, Paul spent 6 years in J.P. Morgan’s Global Environmental & Social Risk Management team.

Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2012, Paul worked in Sustainability & Climate Change consulting at PwC, Environmental Risk Consulting at Arthur Andersen, and as an environmental technical specialist at Atkins Engineering Consultants.

Paul holds an MSc. (Dist.) in Environmental Impact Assessment, Auditing and Management Systems from the University of East Anglia, and a BSc. (Hons.) in Environmental Sciences from the National University of Ireland (Galway). 

Ulf G. Erlandsson

CIO
Diem Green Credit

Dr. Erlandsson is CIO of the Diem Green Credit fund, a fixed-income long short strategy focused on climate change credit opportunities and impact.

Having a background from running global credit and SSA portfolios at AP4, he has been a leading buy-side participant in the green bond market since inception. He started out his career as a quantitative strategist at Barclays Capital developing hedge-fund strategies and conducting macro credit research.

Recently, his paper “Credit alpha and CO2 reduction: A portfolio manager approach” won the CFA Financial Analyst Journal’s Best paper prize for research on sustainable investment and his work features in the CFA’s ESG and GARP Climate risk certificate course works.
